This article reports service activities aimed to increase participants’ knowledge and skills in utilizing the larvae implementing effectiveness efficiency of catfish farming process for group Mojo Village. We carried out two main activities, a community-based activity by conducting three variations farming, namely (commercial feed, without feed larvae, with Dissemination CBR results. The results show that commercial combined implementation can reduce costs effectively maintain water quality. Through this activity, participants acquire initial farming. enthusiastically participated training dissemination

Microcontrollers in Recirculating Aquaculture Systems
Closed-system aquaculture presents a new and expanding commercial opportunity; however, presently there are few profitable commercial operations. Intensive aquaculture systems require a sufficient supply of oxygen and nutrients in temperaturecontrolled water with a means of removing wastes from the system. In properly controlled recirculating aquaculture systems, stocking rates of up to one-hal...
Simulation of Recirculating Aquaculture Plants
Aquaculture, the farming of fish and aquatic crops such as kelp and algae, is classically done in natural bodies of water. In land-based recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS), however, tanks or raceways contain the farmed species and the water is circulated through a treatment system. Benefits compared to traditional farming in open cages include reduced emissions of nutrients, less risk of i...
Biological phosphate removal in a prototype recirculating aquaculture treatment system
Efforts to reduce phosphorus concentrations in aquaculture systems have mainly dealt with improving the bioavailability of phosphorus in fish feed. Once released into the culture water, phosphorus is generally left untreated and discharged with the effluent water. In the present study, results are presented on a prototype recirculating treatment system originally designed for removal of organic...
Populations of heterotrophic bacteria in an experimental recirculating aquaculture system
The aim of this work was to identify the main viable heterotrophic bacteria in a marine fish farm with a recirculating water system and to study their growth dynamics. The experiments were performed with sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax) in an experimental recirculating water system. The bacteria identified were typical of the marine environment: Pseudomonas, Oceanospirillum, Marinobacter, Paraco...
